Lady Bugs at Children’s Story Time!

Last Tuesday at Children’s  Story Time, we sang and danced with our colorful scarves, read books about lady bugs and made a healthy snack that looked like a lady bug!  Our books that we read were, ” The Grouchy Lady Bug” and “The Very Lazy Lady Bug”. We talked about the importance of staying active and keeping a positive attitude and learning to drink more water!  Our healthy snack consisted of apples, peanut butter, raisins and pretzel sticks. For our craft, we colored our very own water bottle to remind us to drink more water!  This fun program was a part our Health Literacy grant which is made possible through the Oklahoma Department of Libraries and the Museum of Library Services.  Come join us each Tuesday at 10:30 am to 11:30 am for children 0-4 years.  For more information, call us at 580-625-3076.
