He discussed the different types of fish that can be found in this part of Oklahoma, the different lures and/or bait to use and the different types of poles and rods. You can also see the mini vegetable garden planted by the Storytime children and library staff. At the end of the program the children were given an apple or banana for a healthy snack.

June 30th was the last day of the Summer Reading Program, we started out with hot dogs, chips and fruit. The program was presented by the Mad Scientist, he included lots of interesting facts about the ocean. The children interacted with questions and several assisted with demonstrations. The last day all the children were to turn in their reading logs for the month. The names of the children that were present on this day and had turned in their logs were put into the drawing for the bicycles. Rylee Sharp was the winner of the girl’s bike and Robert Pell was the winner of the boy’s bike.
